Samantha’s bio:
Samantha is a licensed Elementary Education Teacher and Literacy Specialist. She has spent the last 10 years working in the education field to ensure best practices for all the students she encounters and instilling a love of Christ. Samantha and her husband, Michael reside in Northern Virginia with their sweet daughter and pup. Adoption had always been placed on their hearts, however carrying the cross of infertility made God’s plan for their lives even more prevalent. Samantha and Michael worked with CAC to bring home their daughter through the blessing of adoption. Samantha is excited to walk alongside other families and support their journey through adoption as Christ reveals his perfect plan for their lives as well.
Samantha’s story:
Michael and I are high school sweethearts and both come from large families. Growing our family was always something we were excited about. However, God’s timing and plan was different than our own. Shortly after marriage we found ourselves carrying the cross of infertility. After many years of remaining faithful in prayer and trusting His timing for our lives, a soft calling on our hearts became louder and louder. Adoption.
As we were discerning God’s calling for us to grow our family we were guided to CAC. Immediately everything seemed to fall into place. We knew then and there, adoption was meant to be part of our story. This idea was quickly becoming our reality. We continued to remain open to God’s plan and within a few months we welcomed home our beautiful daughter.
Each experience I have gone through in marriage, infertility, and adoption has become so perfectly woven together to reveal God’s plan for our life. It has become far better than anything we could have come up with on our own. Throughout my own experience with infertility and adoption a passion to advocate and support others going through growing their family has emerged. I am very excited for this vocation to serve other families and see their perfect plan revealed.
