Nikki and her husband Drew are native Texans with two beautiful daughters, the youngest who was added to their family through the gift of adoption through CAC. Nikki is a Homeschool Mom, who enjoys reading, gardening, writing and getting involved with her local church. She spent 11 years in the classroom teaching Middle School Math and has a Bachelor of Business in Finance from Texas Tech University. She has spent the last 7 years as a stay at home mom educating others about health and wellness. Her favorite roles are that of wife and Mama.
Nikki developed a passion for Adoption in 2019 while working with Fallon and CAC, and can’t stop shouting from the mountaintop what God did for her family through Adoption! She loves sharing that passion with others and is honored to now work with Fallon and her families as they walk through the adoption process
Nikki’s Story:
For Drew and I the journey to both of our daughters was hard fought. Our oldest, Lyla, was born in 2016 at only 32 weeks and spent many weeks in the NICU. A few years later we found ourselves struggling with Secondary Infertility while trying to complete our family. Drew and I had many conversations over those years about a desire to help others who were adopting. We had no idea yet what God was laying on our hearts!
One night I stopped asking God to bring us a baby my way. I remember very clearly switching that prayer to please bring me a baby any way He saw fit. Very soon after we answered that call for Adoption that He had been laying on our hearts all along.
While researching Adoption we realized we needed someone to hold our hand in the process. We found CAC on Instagram, and set up a call with Fallon. We got started in October of 2018. We saw God’s hand at every turn in the process and knew we were on the right track. God kept pressing on my heart that our baby was out there every time things felt difficult or slow during our wait. Our Aubrey Joy was born in September of 2019. We are so grateful for that blessing bestowed on us by God and Aubrey’s Birth Mother. What an incredible honor to be chosen by another woman to be the mother of her child!
I have such a heart for Mamas struggling to complete their families. My hope is that in my role here at CAC I can ease that struggle and help others find their forever families.
