Allie’s Story:
Growing up, I was always a little artsy-fartsy, but never imagined the Lord could turn that into a ministry career. My husband and I were professional photographers in California for 6 years, and I realized that I enjoyed designing photo books more than I actually enjoyed the photography itself. After moving to Louisville, KY so my husband could attend the seminary there, I found myself in the creative and marketing industry for a brand. While that did scratch my creative itch, I had a strong desire to find more meaningful work. After a lot of prayer and searching, the Lord led me to CAC in March 2022. It is so gratifying to serve adoption families, and I feel incredibly blessed to help others by simply being creative.
My husband and I have never adopted a child, but we are confident adoption is in our future and look forward to following God as he leads us in that desire. We both have so much respect for everyone involved in adoption and are eager for the day we get to enter into that sacred process ourselves. For now, we are enjoying a sweet season of life raising our daughter, Elle, and are learning to be faithful over the current areas of life the Lord has given us. What a wonderful gift it is to come alongside CAC families as they begin their adoption journey!
