Father, there is loss and grief associated with adoption, always. And You are the Father of all comfort and the God of all mercies. As adoptees and birth families wade through the deep waters of loss, would you also grant them the gift of joy in knowing You-the source of true eternal happiness. Increase their awareness of Your presence walking alongside them in all the complexities of their story.

Father, we will never find peace in our circumstances because peace is found in You alone. We come to You with the things that burden our hearts as we think about adoption today. Bring us peace where there is fear. Bring us peace where there is uncertainty. Bring us peace where there are unknowns. You are the God of peace and we ask You to grow in us more of that peace.
