After helping families with more than 4,000 adoptions, we’ve learned a thing or two! In addition to your CAC Adoption Consultant, you’ll have the support of our entire team:   Licensed Social Workers Our Consulting Director is a licensed Social Worker with 20 years of experience. We also have a licensed Master Social Worker and over 10 staff members who have experience working at licensed adoption agencies.   Adoptees  Adoptees Jonnilyn Spinks and Jonathan Adam also offer client consultations where they share their adoption story and advice for hopeful adoptive parents from an adult adoptee’s perspective.   Adoption Professionals The Support Team is led by CAC Founder, Amy Young, who has launched and managed operations of licensed adoption agencies. She has a broad understanding of adoption, a depth of knowledge of licensing requirements, legal processes, ethics in adoption, and how agencies operate.

Transparency, Adoption Ethics, & Standards

Founded on Christian principles and standards, we believe in ethical adoption practices and the highest level of care for all parties in the adoption triad: the adoptive family, the expectant/birth family, and the child.   We offer complete transparency by providing our clients with the agencies’ names and contact information. In addition, clients are provided with social and medical histories and other important information regarding each adoption situation. After carefully reviewing the situations and assessing the risks, our clients can choose whether they feel comfortable moving forward with the adoption or not.   CAC ethical standards & values mean we help our clients research and evaluate adoption situations on a case-by-case basis to carefully assess the risk. We also vet the adoption agencies and attorneys we work with and hold them to a high standard of excellence and care for adoptive and expectant/birth families. In some cases, agency research and screening take over a year to complete.   CAC Consultants are required to complete 20+ hours of training annually and follow strict company standards and guidelines for ethical adoption practices.   Honest business practices mean CAC never takes kick-backs or payments of any kind from agencies or attorneys. CAC only receives fees from clients who pay for services so there are no conflicts of interest. CAC does not require families to sign non-disclosure agreements regarding their services or experience with their consultant or adoption process. Clients are free to share their feedback at any time.
