CAC is uniquely positioned in the adoption space due to our leadership’s background in founding and operating multiple licensed adoption agencies. This hands-on experience gives us an unmatched understanding of every step of the adoption journey, from both the agency and family perspective.

Licensed & Credentialed Professionals
Our team includes:
- Licensed Social Workers who serve in leadership and consulting roles
- A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Team members with personal adoption experience, including adoptees
In addition, one of our social workers is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is also a graduate of the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) program—a rigorous 72-hour, assessment-based certificate program accredited by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. This specialized training reflects our commitment to trauma-informed, adoption-competent care.
Ongoing Training & Professional Development
We require every consultant to complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education each year to ensure we remain current on adoption laws, best practices, and ethical standards.
Our training includes:
- Adoption-specific education and certifications
- Annual review and application of CAC’s Adoptive Parent Guide (APG)
- Training through organizations such as the National Council For Adoption
- Collaboration and one-on-one learning with adoption professionals across the country
- Internal team trainings and case reviews
We actively track and document all training and certifications to ensure accountability and excellence across our entire team.
