African-American Adoptions Program

  • For couples adopting African American children~ our Minority Adoption Program is a special program that offers adoption services to couples who wish to adopt African American children.  This program has three main objectives:
  • 1) To educate people on the need to adopt African American children,
    2) To actively recruit African American or Inter-racial couples to adopt, and
    3) To greatly reduce the cost of adoption

  • Our nation’s foster care systems have hundreds of thousands of children who are in need of permanent placement.  It is our desire to find loving people who wish to adopt infants BEFORE having to enter into the foster care system.  We have developed alliances to raise awareness and find “forever” families for African-American children.

  • We realize that in most cases lack of information and financial barriers prevent couples from moving forward on their adoption journey.  Most people are overwhelmed by the complexity of the adoption process and seemingly high costs.   Hope for Adoption’s goal is to simplify the adoption process and greatly reduce the exorbitant costs normally associated with adoption. We do not want high agency expenses to deter anyone from expanding their heart and their home to a child.
